Since the successful defence of my dissertation in 2017 I have held the position of Sessional Philosophy Instructor at both the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University. I teach a range of courses at both institutions including Bioethics, Business Ethics, Philosophy of Sex, Love, and Death, and Intro Ethics. My primary interests lie in political philosophy, moral theory, value theory, moral psychology, and applied ethics. My current research projects center around 1) the affinity between value pluralism and liberalism, 2) the moral psychology and appropriateness of our emotional responses to others, and 3) a critical analysis of some central ethical concepts such as supererogation and suberogation. |
